Apple Fritters

1 cup of flour

1/3 cup sugar

1-1/2 tsp baking powder

dash salt

1 tsp apple pie spice

1 tsp vanilla

1 tbsp melted butter

1 egg

1/3 cup milk

1-1/2 cups finely chopped apples (I used Gala)

Mix all the dry ingredient together.  Mix all the wet ingredients together.

Blend them together.  Add the apples and fold in well.

Drop by “plops” into 350-360 degree oil and fry about 45 seconds per side.

Glaze:

2 cups confectioners sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp apple pie spice

Add enough milk (2-4 tbsps?) to make a nice, drippy glaze

When fritters are out of the oil, let them cool about 30 seconds, then roll in the glaze and let them “drip” drip!
