- 1-1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 3 tbsps sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1-1/2 tbsps red and green nonpareils or sprinkles
In a food processor, put flour and sugar and pulse to combine. Add butter and vanilla and pulse until dough begins to come together. Add nonpareils and pulse just enough to combine.
Put dough between two sheets of wax paper and roll into 8″ x 5″ rectangle.
Freeze 15 minutes. Then cut dough into 1/2″ squares and place on ungreased cookie sheet or one with parchment.
Bake at 32 for 18-20 minutes or until just lightly browned at bottom edges.
Store in a tightly covered container at room temp for up to 1 week or freeze up to 3 months.
