• 1/4 cup caster (superfine) sugar
• 2-1/4 tsps yeast
• 1 cup warm milk

Mix altogether and let sit for 10-15  minutes.

Sift 3 cups of flour over the yeast mixture and mix well

Add…

• 1/4 cup melted butter
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
