Christmas Vanilla Krinkles

Watch video.

• 2-1/2 cups flour
• 1 cup soft butter
• 1-1/4 cups sugar
• 3 egg yolks
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp cream of tartar

Cream butter and sugar till light.  Add yolks and vanilla

Mix the flour, baking soda and cream of tartar together and then add to the butter mixer.

• 1/4 cut butter
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 3 tbsps light corn syrup
• 1/3 cup flour
• 2 tsps rum extract
• 3/4 cup finely ground pecans
• whole pecans

Melt butter, sugar and syrup in a small pot.  Remove and add the flour, extract and ground pecans and mix well.

Christmas Gingerbread Pudding

Butter a pudding mold (or coffee can or bowl)

• 6 oz. butter
• 2/3 cup brown sugar
• 4 eggs
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 2 tsp. ground ginger
• 1/4 cup diced candied ginger
• 1/3 cup dark corn syrup
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar.  Add eggs.

Add the syrup and vanilla and blend well.

Chocolate Cherry Christmas Pudding

Butter a 2 qt mold ( or a large coffee can or a bowl)

In a bowl, combine:

• 1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 2 tbsps flour
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/8 tsp salt

Mix altogether and set aside.
